Rotaİkaz collects no personal data, creates no account, does not track users and shows no ads. Your location is processed on your device and never reaches us.
The app collects no personal data and shares none with third parties. No account is required. No third-party advertising or analytics SDK is used, and no crash-reporting SDK is included.
Your location is used to centre the map on you, to show nearby fixed cameras and average-speed enforcement corridors, to compute your current speed, and to time driving alerts correctly.
Your location never leaves your device. Camera and corridor data is downloaded to the device and all distance calculation happens locally; your coordinates are never sent to a server or recorded.
No background location tracking. The app never requests
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — that permission is explicitly blocked. Location is
read only while the app is open, or after you tap "Start driving" while the persistent
notification is visible. Ending the drive stops location reads.
When you start a drive the app runs a foreground service and shows a persistent notification. Its only purpose is to keep voice alerts working when the screen is off or you are in another app. The service collects nothing and sends nothing; it stops when you tap "End".
You may optionally sign in with your Google account in Settings. If you do, your name and email address are stored only in your device's local storage; they are not sent to any server of ours and no account is created there. Signing out deletes that record entirely. Signing in is entirely optional — every feature of the app works without it.
Saved places, your vehicle type, alert thresholds, voice and theme settings are kept only on your device. They are not uploaded or backed up. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app reaches the network in these places:

coordinates are sent to compute directions.photon.komoot.io) and Nominatim
(nominatim.openstreetmap.org) — the text you type and your approximate location
are sent so results can be ranked by proximity.The routing and search services are open services run by the OpenStreetMap community. Nothing identifying you is attached to these requests and the app stores none of them. Those services' own terms apply.
Camera and corridor information is compiled from the Turkish Ministry of Interior's route enforcement list, the General Directorate of Security's fixed camera list, and OpenStreetMap contributions. These lists are not exhaustive; the app's About screen states plainly which provinces are covered.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Rotaİkaz is a driving aid; it does not replace traffic law, road signs or the driver's attention. Data may be incomplete or out of date. Road conditions and signage always take precedence. Do not interact with the screen while driving.
If a feature that collects data or moves data off the device is added (for example cloud backup of settings), this page will be updated and the Google Play data safety declaration changed accordingly.
